3DBODY.TECH Conference & Expo provides a platform of eminent professionals, entrepreneurs, academicians and researchers across the globe to present, learn and discuss the latest in 3D/4D human body scanning and processing technologies. The multidisciplinary character of 3DBODY.TECH makes it unique and not comparable to any other meeting related to 3D/4D body technologies.

3DBODY.TECH 2024 - The 15th International Conference and Exhibition on 3D Body Scanning and Processing Technologies was successfully closed in Lugano on the evening of 23rd October 2024.

About 200 participants from over 30 different countries attended the two days conference and exhibition, about 20% of them attended online. The list of participants is available at: Attendees.

The parallel technical exhibition allowed manufacturers, solution providers and institutions to demonstrate live 3D/4D body scanning systems, software solutions and applications to onsite and online attendees/visitors/participants. The list of exhibitors is available at: Exhibition.

The program of the conference was structured, during two full days, in 1 opening session, 13 technical sessions in dual track and 15 live demonstrations sessions, accommodating in total over 80 technical and scientific presentations, grouped according to various topics and application areas. The conference confirmed also this year to be the most important international event focused on 3D & 4D body scanning & processing technologies.

The proceedings of the conference are available for purchase in digital form. The proceedings, organized as a website, provide details of the technical sessions, and give access to all abstracts, to all published papers (as single PDF documents), to all recorded presentation videos and to all recorded sessions (opening session, technical sessions, exhibitors' live demonstrations). 3DBODY.TECH 2025

3DBODY.TECH 2025 - The 16th International Conference and Exhibition on 3D Body Scanning and Processing Technologies, will take place on 21-22 October 2025, in Lugano, Switzerland. 3DBODY.TECH 2025

3DBODY.TECH 2025 will be held as a full in-person event with conference and exhibition taking place onsite in Lugano, with all speakers (100%) and the large majority of attendees onsite (80%). Online participations will be available for remote attendees (20%). All contents of the conference will be live streamed and recorded for later view.

Our goals/expectations for 2025 are:

  • 200-250+ onsite & 25-50 online participants
  • 70-80+ onsite presentations (no online presentations)
  • 20-25+ onsite exhibitors

Conference director's message

The past 14 international conferences from 2010 to 2023 were largely attended by participants from different countries, different technical fields and different industries. The rich technical programs of all past events included a wide variety of works related to applications, developments and research on 3D & 4D body scanning and processing from all over the world. The conferences were accompanied by parallel exhibitions featuring live demonstrations of 3D & 4D body scanning equipment and solutions. Various manufacturers had chosen our events for presenting and announcing world and international premieres.

The good success of the 14th edition of 2023 with about 200 attendees (15% online), over 70 presentations and 20 exhibitors was achieved even with the particular post-COVID-19 situation. Our hybrid approach (onsite+online) allowed international participants to attend personally onsite and/or virtually online the 2-days 3DBODY.TECH 2023 conference and exhibition. Very appreciated was the increased flexibility offered by the hybrid format of the event even for onsite participants.

This year, with its 15th international conference and exhibition, 3DBODY.TECH will continue its role as the world leading technical and scientific event dedicated to 3D body scanning and processing technologies.

3DBODY.TECH 2024 will be held again as hybrid event with onsite conference and exhibition taking place in Lugano with all contents livestreamed online and recorded for later view. We will combine the advantages of both formats and offer thus increased opportunities for both onsite and online participants.
