The works presented at 3DBODY.TECH Conference & Expo are differentiated into four groups:
- technical/scientific full papers (to be peer reviewed for publication in the journal),
- technical/scientific papers and abstracts (not fully reviewed),
- technical presentations (with or without paper/abstract), and
- invited talks (with or without paper/abstract).
The submitted extended abstracts are evaluated for acceptance to be presented at 3DBODY.TECH Conference & Expo.
Authors of accepted abstracts are invited to submit full papers following the given guidelines for publication in the 3DBODY.TECH Proceedings.
Authors of technical/scientific full papers have the option to publish their works also in the 3DBODY.TECH Journal after being firstly presented at the 3DBODY.TECH Conference & Expo.
Before publication in the 3DBODY.TECH Journal, the submitted full papers are peer reviewed by at least two members of the technical/scientific committee.
Details of the review process for the 3DBODY.TECH Journal are available at the journal's website at jrnl.3dbody.tech.
All accepted papers and abstracts must be presented onsite personally by at least one of the authors. Online remote presentations are possible only for exceptional cases. Reduced registration fees are available for presenters/speakers.
All papers, abstracts and presentations at 3DBODY.TECH Conference & Expo are included in the 3DBODY.TECH Proceedings with ISBN number (available in digital form), and individual DOIs are assigned to all papers.
The peer reviewed papers will be published in the 3DBODY.TECH Journal - Journal of 3D Body Technologies, ISSN 3042-576X, Open Access, Online.
All papers, abstracts, recordings will be available at the 3DBODY.TECH Proceedings website proc.3dbody.tech, which features over 1000 pages, over 800 PDFs, about 450 videos/recordings (from 2020) and a dedicated search tool.

Guidelines for presentations
It is required that at least one of the authors registers and presents the work personally onsite at the conference.
Online remote presentations will be possible only for exceptional cases.
All technical/scientific presentations will be held during technical sessions in conference rooms at the convention center, live streamed on the event platform/app and recorded for later view.
Each presentation will be followed with a discussion with the audience. Both onsite and online participants will be able to see live the presentations and participate at the discussions.
Oral presentations
Oral presentation should be approx. 18 minutes long. This will allow additional 4 minutes for questions and discussion with the audience. Note: less or additional time may be available depending on the session.
Please ensure you arrive before the start of the session in which you are presenting and introduce yourself to the chair of the session. Note: chairmen will be listed in the final program.
No specific template is defined for the presentations. Presenters can freely design and setup them according to his/her style.
Windows Laptops with MS Powerpoint will be available in the conference rooms. Please bring backups of your presentation on USB flash drive. The speakers may also bring and use their own laptop to avoid compatibility problems (e.g. different versions of Powerpoint, linked files, videos, etc.).
LCD projectors in the conference rooms have HDMI connection and 16:9 display mode.
Important note for laptops and tablets: please bring the necessary adapters in order to connect your device with projectors featuring HDMI plug.
Please note that electricity in Switzerland operates on 220-240 Volts AC 50HZ and that Swiss 3-poles electric plugs are different from European-style plugs (European 2-poles electric plugs are compatible). Please bring with you the necessary adapters.
Online/remote presentations (possible only for exceptional cases)
An online/remote presentation consists of a pre-recorded video presentation of maximal 18 minutes. This will be followed by additional 4 minutes for questions and live discussion via web conferencing. Note: less or additional time may be available depending on the session.
Pre-recorded video presentations should be prepared as video files (MP4, AVI) and sent to the conference office by our dedicated file sharing system (3dbodytech.wetransfer.com). No specific template is defined for the presentations. Presenters can freely design and setup it according to his/her style. Preferably, it should be included also a visual narration (presenter captured by a webcam) which will make the presentation more alive.
Note: MS PowerPoint allows to record video and audio narration running through a presentation. For instructions on recording a slide show with video and audio narration using MS PowerPoint and on turning a presentation into a video, please click the following links: record slide show with narration,
