3DBODY.TECH Conference & Expo provides a platform of eminent professionals, entrepreneurs, academicians and researchers across the globe to present, learn and discuss the latest in 3D human body scanning and processing technologies. 3DBODY.TECH 2020 ONLINE

3DBODY.TECH 2020 - The 11th International Conference and Exhibition on 3D Body Scanning and Processing Technologies took place ONLINE, on 17-18 November 2020.

A dedicated online conference platform allowed attendees to access all live streams, all pre-recorded contents, all group discussions and to use tools for networking with other online attendees, speakers, exhibitors (messaging, chat, 1-to-1 video calls). The online conference platform was active for 30 days after the conference, allowing to access all recorded contents (live technical sessions, live exhibitors demonstrations, single presentation videos) and to continue contacting/messaging other attendees.

The program of the conference was structured, during two full days, in 12 technical sessions in dual track, accommodating in total about 50 scientific and technical presentations, grouped according to various topics and application areas.
In a third track, exhibitors hosted 7 live streaming sessions from their HQs/offices, allowing to discuss and demonstrate live 3D/4D body scanning systems, software solutions and applications.

3DBODY.TECH 2021 - The 12th International Conference and Exhibition on 3D Body Scanning and Processing Technologies will take place on 19-20 October 2021, in Lugano, Switzerland. Hybrid event: onsite and virtual.

Conference director's message

The past ten international conferences from 2010 to 2019 were all largely attended with 200-250 participants from different countries, different technical fields and different industries.
The rich technical programs of the past events included a wide variety of works related to applications, developments and research on 3D body scanning and processing from all over the world.
The conferences were accompanied by parallel exhibitions featuring live demonstrations of 3D body scanning equipment and solutions. Various manufacturers had chosen our events for presenting and announcing world and international premieres.

The success of the 10th edition of 2019 with about 270 attendees, with about 80 presentations and with 28 exhibitors confirmed again 3DBODY.TECH Conference & Expo as the most important international event for the sectors related to 3D body scanning and processing technologies. With the 11th conference and exhibition of 2020, we will continue the role as the world leading technical and scientific platform dedicated to these specific fields.

Due to the particular situation caused by the novel corona virus, 3DBODY.TECH 2020 was planned to be held as hybrid event with real conference and exhibition taking place in Lugano and added virtual content. However, the worsening situation in Europe, with following increasing travel restrictions, imposes us to organize the event entirely online. In order to cope with all changes and to setup a great online conference platform, we have also to postpone the conference 4 weeks.

3DBODY.TECH Conference & Expo will take place ONLINE, on 17-18 November 2020.

A dedicated online conference platform will allow attendees to access all live streams, all pre-recorded contents, all group discussions and to use tools for networking with other online attendees, speakers, exhibitors (messaging, chat, 1-to-1 video calls).
The online conference platform will be active and accessible 24h during the 2-days conference.
Recorded contents (e.g. presentation videos) will be accessible, for a limited time, also after the end of the conference.
