3DBODY.TECH 2026 - The 17th International Conference & Expo on 3D/4D Body Technologies, will take place on 20-21 October 2026, in Lugano, Switzerland.
3DBODY.TECH 2026 will be held as a full in-person event with conference and expo taking place at the Lugano convention center, with all speakers presenting onsite (online/remote presentations will be possible only for exceptional cases) and with the large majority of attendees participating onsite. Online participation will be available for remote attendees. The entire contents of the conference and demonstrations of exhibitors will be live streamed and recorded for later view (all recorded contents available within 1 hour after the live sessions).
Authors wishing to present their works at 3DBODY.TECH 2026, have them published in the 3DBODY.TECH 2026 Proceedings and upon request also published as peer reviewed full papers in the 3DBODY.TECH Journal Vol. 3 Dec. 2026, are invited to submit their extended abstracts to the conference office until 30 April 2026. Private corporations and organizations, research and educational institutions, individual firms and startups are welcomed to participate as exhibitors. For exhibitors, 4 different levels are available: GOLD, SILVER, BRONZE, BASIC. Note: 30% discount on the exhibitors' fees is offered by registering before 1 March 2026. Each participant (attendee/delegate/speaker) that wishes to attend (onsite or online) 3DBODY.TECH 2026 has to register and pay the registration fees. Discounts are available for early registrations and additional price reductions are offered to speakers and students. Information about registration, tickets and fees are available at: Registration.
3DBODY.TECH 2026 will take place at the convention center in Lugano Switzerland, 80 km north of Milan Italy, 200 km south from Zurich Switzerland. Lugano is directly connected by rail to Milan Malpensa and Zurich airports, and within driving distance from major cities in Italy, Germany and France. The 3DBODY.TECH event platform/app will allow all participants to access all live streams, all recorded contents, and to use tools for networking with other onsite/online attendees, speakers, exhibitors. More details are available at: Platform/app.
All works presented at 3DBODY.TECH 2026 will be included in the conference proceedings and will be freely accessible at the 3DBODY.TECH Proceedings website proc.3dbody.tech, which features over 1000 pages, 800 PDFs, 450 videos/recordings (from 2020) and a dedicated search tool.
Technical/scientific full papers, peer reviewed by the technical/scientific committee upon authors' request, will be additionally published as journal papers in the 3DBODY.TECH Journal (ISSN 3042-576X). Further details are available at the journal website jrnl.3dbody.tech.

The 3DBODY.TECH Journal is an international peer reviewed, pure open access journal. The technical/scientific papers published in the 3DBODY.TECH Journal have been peer reviewed after being firstly submitted and presented at the annual 3DBODY.TECH Conference & Expo, and included in the 3DBODY.TECH Proceedings.
The current volume 3DBODY.TECH Journal - Volume 2, Dec. 2025 (ISSN: 3042-576X, DOI: 10.15221/J25) includes technical/scientific full papers which have been peer reviewed after being firstly submitted and presented at 3DBODY.TECH 2025.
The 3DBODY.TECH Journal - Volume 2, Dec. 2025 is accessible at jrnl.3dbody.tech/v02-2025.
Notes:
3DBODY.TECH 2025 Proceedings includes all papers and presentations from 3DBODY.TECH 2025, whereas 3DBODY.TECH Journal - Volume 2 includes only the peer reviewed full papers. The inclusion/publication in the journal is optional and upon explicit request from the author(s).
In the current volume are listed some full papers whose review processes have been completed, but which have still to be updated by the authors. Their PDF files will be available shortly.
October 22, 2025 - 3DBODY.TECH 2025 successfully closed
3DBODY.TECH 2025 - The 16th International Conference and Exhibition on 3D/4D Body Scanning, Data and Processing Technologies was successfully closed in Lugano on the evening of 22rd October 2025.
About 190 participants from over 25 different countries attended the two days conference and expo, about 20% of them attended online: attendees 2025.
The program of the conference was structured, during two full days, in 1 opening session, 13 technical sessions in dual track, 11 live demonstrations sessions, 1 plenary panel discussion, accommodating in total over 70 technical and scientific presentations, grouped according to various topics and application areas.
3DBODY.TECH Conference & Expo confirmed also this year to be the most important international event focused on 3D & 4D body scanning, data & processing technologies.
Opening/Closing presentation:
An edited version of the joined opening and closing presentations of the conference director Dr. Nicola D'Apuzzo is available to download: PDF file.
Proceedings:
The proceedings of the conference are available for purchase in digital form. The proceedings, organized as a website, provide details of the technical sessions, and give access to all abstracts, to all published papers (as single PDF documents), to all recorded presentation videos and to all recorded sessions (opening session, technical sessions, exhibitors' live demonstrations, panel).
